Our Story
The Retreat
Kimberly Creek Retreat is situated on over 20 acres of wooded land that features hills, cliffs, Pawnee Creek, fire pits, hiking trails, picnic areas, and much more. Our activities include experiences for both kids and adults. We are located minutes from Mahoney State Park, SAC Museum, wineries and small town boutiques.
We focus on maintaining a natural environment that is a healthy ecosystem which supports both wildlife and our Glampers. We cannot guarantee that you will see specific species of wildlife during your stay , as they are just that, wild. But do not be surprised if you hear coyotes or owls as you sit by your fire.
Kimberly Creek Retreat has been working since November of 2018 to create a retreat like atmosphere for people to come and slip away from everyday life stresses, while relaxing in Nebraska's natural beauty. We strive to ensure each person has a special, unique experience in Mother Nature's serene solitude.
Escape
Retreat means "escaping the ordinary" for another purpose, especially to escape & relax.
About Us
Kimberly Creek Retreat was founded and developed by Mike Kennedy and Chris Petersen. Both families are intimately involved in the construction and operation. When you check in, you will likely meet Chris or Mike.
