Kimberly Creek Retreat - A Gathering Place in the Woods

We've had the privilege of living in a wonderful corner of the world. A branch of Pawnee Creek winds through a natural sanctuary of woodlands. This area has been a special gathering place for centuries. The Pawnee, Otoe and other native american tribes were drawn to the stream and made their camps in this natural oasis. Adrew Blum, who was a master brewer for Storz Beer, purchased this property because the woodlands reminded him of the Black Forest in his native Germany. The limestone bluff was also the place where infamous Dynamite Pete wandered while playing his violin in search of solitude.

For over two decades we have been the stewards of this natural retreat, enjoying many opportunities to gather family and friends for special occasions. We have hosted weddings, family reunions, business retreats and camps for kids. Time and again, we have heard guests say: "This is a very special place ... it should become a natural retreat center where groups can gather to discover nature's magic and serenity".

After more than two years of planning it is with great pleasure to announce that Kimberly Creek Retreat will become a reality. The official opening for our Glamping experience and nature sanctuary is scheduled for June 1, 2019. We hope that you will come and experience our very special "Gathering Place in the Woods".
